“ Restaurants like Phoenix support the claim that NJ boasts the best diners. Everything is made-in house. It was apparent with my chicken salad platter. From the coleslaw to the potato salad and chicken, I enjoyed every bite (though with such a big portion, there were leftovers.) Looking at the neighboring table, I said to T, "you should've gotten sausage." Nice big, juicy sausage with casing that pops when you take a bite, not little links or patties you get in most diners. The fellow whose sausage I coveted said that their blueberry Danish is out of this world. Where I lived in Marietta, GA the diner has the most decadent-looking desserts. But their cakes come from a bakery, and in our opinion, weren't all that great. Looking at the showcase in Phoenix -- particularly the fruit pies -- desserts look homemade. Definitely next time! ”
